Just a few minutes from Shangi Cottage is the ancient residental of the first europeans that arrived in Rwanda year 1894., wich are a important testament to Rwanda heritage.
The Congo-Nile trail passes right next to Shangi Cottages . Nywungwe forest is about 40 minutes away with car.
